“Portfolio Space: The Launch of Discovery”

Space Shuttle Discovery launch in 1989, STS-29 was the 28th Space Shuttle flight and the 8th by Discovery. It was the third launch after the destruction of Challenger. After Challenger, the launches had stopped for nearly four years. I was given a photography position on a fire tower just three miles from Pad 39B.
