I have been to many stadiums, big and small, small town and big city. This is the coolest location I have ever been lucky enough to witness an Olympic sport. It felt more like the actual early Olympic games, with an intimacy I didn’t feel in the Stade de France during the Rugby 7 matches.

I choose this image in Black & White for that reason, it could be any year. Only the stadium lights give away the modern era.

When my daughter gained access to beach volleyball tickets under the Eiffel Tower, I knew I was going to Paris. With all the things I have done, this was my chance to tick the Olympics off my bucket list.
