Sunset over the Smoky Mountains on August 21, 2017, after the Great American Eclipse, looks like a wildfire in the mountains.

The eclipse had just finished when the sun started setting in the west over the Great Smoky Mountains from our cabin in Murphy, NC. We couldn’t have asked for a better ending to the Great American Eclipse then the sun giving us another treat to end the day.
