Each winter for well over a decade, I traveled to Blandford Ski Area in western Massachusetts. A magical place surrounded by incredible scenery and real people, it was old-style skiing, a place you could drop your kids, and there were multiple “parents” who watched your kids, just like me. We were a community. When it closed during COVID, everyone was devastated. These are my remembrances of that place and where it was. Have any questions?Don’t hesitate to contact me.

Enders Forest was established in 1970 with a 1,500-acre donation by the children of John and Harriet Enders. A further donation was made in 1981 and the state purchased additional property in 2002. One of the great hikes in western Connecticut.
